Catherine Martinot-Bonjour teaches painting in various workshops of the area of Lyon. She practises her work with passion : Painting, it is her life. She shares this pleasure with her students, young children and adults.
Catherine Martinot-Bonjour presents today a new exhibition, composed of about forty Portraits and living models. The style has changed : it is very different from the the green landscapes of Vercors and Chartreuse we where used to ...
Here, the evocation is different. We enter in the intimacy: the body is exposed free and powerful. There are also many portraits : expressive and coloured faces coming from somewhere else. The artist expresses herself with force, and lets speak her sensitivity.
The drawing is skilful and is carried out carefully Colors are pure and bright. The painting is alive, impregnated of light.
